International Conference on Smart Cities

About the Conference: Smart city innovations are new approaches to holistic  management of cities’ physical, socio-economic, environmental, transportation and political assets across all urban domains, typically supported by ICT and open data. They can be smart cities only if they become more sustainable,  and improve quality of life and economic performance. This requires a shared vision of all stake holders -citizens, public and private organizations and many others. This conference will include experts and scholars working on smart cities, smart technologies, their applications, strategies, and policies for valuable  deliberation.

Scope of Publication:

Papers submitted in this conference would have a scope of publication as follows:

  1. Selective papers would be published in Journal of Enterprise Information Management (Emerald)
  2. Selective Papers would be taken forward for a special Issue on Smart Cities in International Journal of Electronic Government Research (IGI Global)
  3. Selective papers would be published in Transforming Government: People, Process and Policy (Emerald)
  4. All other selected papers would be taken forward to be published as book chapters in Edited Books with an ISBN number from one/more reputed publisher(s).

CALL FOR PAPERS

Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished papers, nominating a theme-related track or designating the paper as non-theme related (“Other”). Accepted papers will appear in the edited books provided that at least one author registers for and attends the conference. High quality papers will be  nominated for the Best Paper award.
