Similarly firms which are in traditional business lines, are getting heavily disrupted due to how these technological platforms are changing the way firms do business. Firms need to strengthen their presence online by managing their digital presence in search engines, social media and e-commerce platforms. Firms would need a taskforce that caters to these changing needs. The current techno-functional course caters to these needs of the industry by creating trained professionals who can cater to the pressing manpower needs of this digital ecosystem.

In India only there are 600 million users who use these digital platforms and there are many industries which service the needs of the internet ecosystem.
