Abstract: In this digital era, data is the new oil and artificial intelligence (AI) is the new electricity, which is needed in different elements of operations management (OM) such as manufacturing, product development, services and supply chain. This study explores the feasibility of AI utilization within an organization on six factors such as job-fit, complexity, long-term consequences, affect towards use, social factors and facilitating conditions for different elements of OM by mining the collective intelligence of experts on Twitter and through academic literature. The study provides guidelines for managers for AI applications in different components of OM and concludes by presenting the limitations of the study along with future research directions. NIRF Rankings for 2020 – Management
The NIRF rankings for 2020 are out. In Management, the rankings are led by IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Kolkata. The top IITs in the top 10 rankings are Kharagpur and Delhi. A comparison of the performance across different criteria is provided in the snippet below for the top 25 institutions.

Double Century of Citations – Review on AI/ML Algorithms
The first double century is always special. This is a review article I developed in 2014 after I joined IITD and it got finally published in Expert Systems with Applications (Impact Factor >4, ABS Rank 3) journal in 2016. This article I developed while developing content for my analytics course so that I could explain extremely complex somewhat popular/emerging AI/ML algorithms in the simplest of ways, and non-mathematically to my students.
